Employment History 2004-2005 Brummell Associates: Multimedia developer Work experience in multimedia and design, creating interactive CD-ROMS.
2005-2006 IBM UK Ltd: Junior Designer Responsibilities To maintain the high level of quality, consistency and design of printed collateral for IBM. This involved producing datasheets, invites, brochures, flyers and posters.
Created three IBM ‘Welcome Kits’ – information packs distributed at executive events all over the world. Due to extremely tight deadlines I worked onsite at each event location: Disneyland Paris, Barcelona and Rome.
2006-present Adare Creative: Designer Responsibilities Working at an external agency gave me the opportunity to unleash my creativity on new and interesting clients including Danone, Lenovo, Twinings and Yell. I took total ownership of projects, liaising closely with clients and working from concept to print.
To assist with the transition of the agency, I wrote, designed and produced ‘The Job Map’ – An interactive PDF that stays alongside the project from creation to completion. It is a step by step guide to essential QA checks, effective ways of working, details of all brand guidelines and what to look for in the final pre-print proof.
Interests and Hobbies I am a keen artist, painting and exhibiting in my spare time. The freedom that comes with creating my own art inspires new ideas and perspectives that I often incorporate into my design work.
